Robin Hood [2010]

Perhaps it was just my mindset, but it seemed a bit long and unfocused. The film never seemed to know quite what it was about, or at least it never seemed to interested in actually getting on with what it was about.

I also found it difficult to engage with the characters, to care about them, or to find them interesting.

Having said that, the individual scenes were built well enough that I was fairly constantly entertained.

I think though that it compares unfavourably with both Braveheart and Gladiator, which share numerous structural similarities.
